Many people have misconceptions about clinical trials. They often do not understand that a clinical trial might be their best hope for a durable response to therapy. Nearly all the drugs for kidney cancer are relatively new (within the last 10 years), and as they evolve they are getting better and better responses. Some of the most hopeful drugs are just now getting through the lengthy process of testing.
As part of our 10-for-IO project we have been creating images and tweeting regularly in an attempt to correct some misconceptions and get people to at least explore the available clinical trials so that they know what options might be there for them.
Here is a collection of some of our Twitter images. We invite you to re-Tweet them as you wish.
Thank you!
