Dr Bart van Goudoever is a motivated and experienced board member committed to transforming organisational goals into practical, results-driven initiatives. With a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach, he enjoys helping organisations align their vision with actionable plans that make a meaningful impact.
Born in 1960, Bart earned his PhD in Economic Sciences and has built a distinguished career as a management consultant. Alongside his professional work, he has served on numerous boards in diverse sectors such as social housing, culture, social welfare, and drug prevention. In most of these roles, Bart held financial leadership positions, bringing fiscal discipline and long-term vision to the organisations he served. His extensive experience in governance, particularly within the Dutch regulatory framework where IKCC is legally based, adds significant value to the IKCC Board.
Bart’s decision to serve on the IKCC Board is rooted in his strong belief in health equity and the importance of patient-centered care. He is committed to ensuring that people worldwide receive the information, support, and treatment they need when confronted with a serious diagnosis like kidney cancer. Bart believes reducing global disparities in knowledge, diagnosis, and care is essential – and that IKCC plays a critical role in achieving this goal.
