Anne Wilson is a healthcare Chief Executive Officer with over 30 years of experience in leadership, patient advocacy and positioning organisations to meet stakeholder needs while securing financial sustainability. Committed to reducing the global burden of kidney cancer in the Asia-Pacific Region, and especially in Australia, Anne has played a pivotal role in transforming IKCC from a project into a global incorporated patient organisation.
Anne’s diverse background includes a foundation in social work, with graduate and post-graduate qualifications in human services, adolescent health, marketing and business. Throughout her career, she has earned numerous accolades, including the NFP Network CEO of the Year Award in 2008. Her combination of expertise in organisational leadership, marketing, and business has advanced the mission of IKCC, notably with initiatives such as World Kidney Cancer Day.
With a passion for global patient advocacy, social justice and improving health outcomes, Anne is dedicated to amplifying the voices of those affected by kidney cancer and translating scientific research into tangible changes in health policy and patient care, in Australia and worldwide.
